Bible Study

Living Personalities of the Old Testament If you have ever said to yourself “The Old Testament is dull and boring”, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. You may even find yourself talked about in the pages of Scripture. The OT is full of normal men and women who are enrolled in God’s School of Faith and are then called to do extraordinary things - sometimes succeeding and at other times failing. But they are real, and God can use real people who begin to respond in trust and obedience to this God of love and patience.

Rev. Dr. Lowell Stime is a recently retired professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity Lutheran College. Thirty-seven years of teaching and living the Bible has taught this “slow learner” a few lessons in faith and obedience that he is willing to share with others.

Rev. Ken Grambo Familiar to most Canadian Lutherans, the Singing Pastor first used music in ministry to express the truths from the Bible. He has also become well loved for his light-hearted songs, stories and jokes about Norwegians, pastors & church life, seniors & aging and his own personal life.

    • Afternoon options:
      • outdoor activities (canoeing, hiking, etc.)
      • service opportunities
      • reading & relaxation
    • 5:30pm Supper (except Friday)
    • Evening: Campfire & devotions (except Friday)
