2022 CLBI CANOE TRIP

CLBI Celebration Weekend would not be complete without a canoe trip on the North Saskatchewan River!
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone wanting to join the trip.
Minors (ages 12 and up) are welcome to come as long as they register with an adult. This trip will be led by Erik Rust, Steve Kaack, & Joyce Rust.
WHEN IS IT?
August 8-9, 2022
The plan is to organize Sunday night (August 8), leave Monday morning, canoe for 2 days, & return back to CLBI on Tuesday (August 9).
HOW MUCH IS IT?
$100 per person
This cost covers transportation and equipment, as well as staying overnight in the CLBI dorm on Sunday & Tuesday evening.
WHERE IS THE TRIP?
North Saskatchewan River (Nordegg Area)
We will do a short paddle from Horburg to Devils Elbow, where there will be some time to play in the waves, which is also where we will set up camp. The following day we will paddle to Hogs Island for lunch, play in the Brierlies Rapids, then dock at Rocky Mountain House and drive back to CLBI.
