Course Description
For the first open class of the year, Pastor Jesse Schellenberg will be leading us through book of Revelation. He will teach from the perspective of how God’s Word to the early church, facing much pressure from persecution, is formative in our discipleship.

Instructor
Pastor Jesse has served for the past five years as a pastor in Mission, BC. Him and his wife Bradyn have three kids (Maverick, Wren, and Oliver) who help distract them from things like hobbies and rest. When Jesse grows up he wants to be a Bible School teacher because teaching the Word of God to the people of God is his favourite thing in the world to do. Jesse is excited to teach through the book of Revelation as it gives a beautiful and rich picture of Jesus in all of scripture. It is impossible to meditate on this book and not be changed because looking God in the face always has that effect on his children. He can’t wait to see how beholding the Lamb of God together will do that for us during the week.
